At Strategic Tiling, we are committed to delivering reliable, long-lasting results using high-quality materials, attention to detail, and industry-standard application methods. We value the confidence our customers place in our services and strive to uphold that trust by offering a formal, extended service warranty in addition to your automatic rights under consumer law.
Our services are provided in accordance with the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth) and the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). This means you are entitled to certain non-excludable guarantees, including the right to a refund, replacement, repair, or compensation in the event of a major service failure or defect, as well as the right to have minor issues resolved in a reasonable timeframe.
These rights apply independently of any express or additional warranty provided by Strategic Tiling. Nothing in this document limits or restricts your consumer rights under Australian law.
This extended warranty is offered only on full shower regrouting services carried out by Strategic Tiling within Australia. Partial regrouts, isolated tile patching, silicone-only services, and maintenance or repair work are not covered under this warranty.
Strategic Tiling warrants that the grout applied during a full regrouting service will remain watertight and waterproof for a period of ten (10) years commencing from the documented date of service completion as shown on the invoice or final work order.
In the event that the grout applied during the regrouting process becomes non-waterproof due to failure of application or defective grout material (excluding all external factors), Strategic Tiling will, at our absolute and sole discretion:
– Carry out necessary rectification works limited to the affected area(s),
– Conduct a partial or complete regrouting of the originally serviced area using an equivalent grout type,
– Or offer a refund equal to the original cost of the service (as invoiced).
This warranty applies only where the grout is determined by Strategic Tiling to no longer provide a waterproof barrier under standard domestic conditions. The determination of whether a fault is covered under this warranty lies solely with Strategic Tiling or its authorised assessor, based on inspection and submitted documentation.
To lodge a formal claim under this extended warranty, the following steps must be taken:
Step 1 – Initial Contact

If the issue is found not to be covered, the customer may be charged a call-out or service fee in accordance with our current rates.
Please note: Claims submitted outside the ten (10) year window from the service date will not be accepted under any circumstances, regardless of the issue or timing of discovery.
